Desi Slava - The sin is part of me
- How do you choose your songs?
- I choose them with my heart and soul. I would say that I can feel the songs, which are proper for me.
- Your schedule is very busy? You have some free time to rest?
- Indeed, my schedule is very busy, but it happens, to rest.
I use the weakest months, for example February. Then II can relax. Our work, and not only it, is periodical. I love the mountain, the sea too, but I can rest and relax much more on the mountain. This year in February, I was in Singapore, I made a great suntan. The beaches there are unbelievably beautiful, palms, lots of sun. I was dreaming to visit a place with a different culture.
- What criteria your friends should meet?
- Real friends prove themselves in life and I accept them, as they are.
They always have some disadvantages or features that I don't like. Also, if my friends criticize me, they are real friends and vice versa, these, who undergo themselves to me, are not well-wishers.
- You sing about love. What is love for you?
- I'm a person that if not in love with a man or even with my son, life has no meaning. I have to think about someone, and he to be beside me. If I got no one to love, I can't live. My love saves me, keeps from dying.
- Are you content with yourself and do you like you way of life?
- I'm perfect! I'm kidding, I am always very critical with myself, especially when it comes to music. May be, this question is for my friends to answer. I don't like almost anything in me. Really, always there is something I don't like, always find some disadvantage, also my look. I am different depending on the moment and my mood. I'm severely critical to my work. Sometimes I don't know exactly is that I want. I feel the song, go to the studio and record it, or I get so mad, that I say to myself, that I'm no good for nothing and I give up.
- Do you feel lonely sometimes and the glory, is it a burden?
- Both, but in a small degree. Sometimes, and it's human and I can confess it, I don't feel like giving autographs or meeting people. Nevertheless I've always been kind and I know that thanks to my fans, I am who I am.
- Are you vain?
- Vanity is a feature of the character in everyone. Different people have it in a different degree. I think, my vanity is within the normal limit for a woman that is obliged to look always good.
- What features in the person next to you, do you appreciate at the most?
- I meet with many different people. People, who can be my friends, are these from whom I can ask a favor, and I wouldn't ask just anyone. I know many people, who have done a lot in their lives, but they haven't changed. I value people who keep their feet on the ground, and not some hotshots. I respect people realists.
- Are you sinful?
- The sin is part of me. Everyone makes mistakes. It's good, when you realize your mistakes.
- How do you keep your figure?
- My real diet was after my son's birth. Then I've been starving for a month and a half, lost 11 kilograms. I was in the States at that time. After I came to Bulgaria, renewed my concerts and continued to lose weight without any efforts.
- If you look in the mirror what do you see?
- I see a strong girl that makes it through life on her own. I raise my son alone and help my family. Everything I do on my own and I always try to be on high level.
