Desi Slava – I wish that you’ll feel in my songs the same passion, with which I’ve created them.
- Desi, a few hours ago you’ve returned from Berlin. What was the reason for your trip?
- A certain challenge took me there. More than a month ago I visited some friends of mine in Berlin and they got me in touch with a famous fashion agency. “SP Concept” was interested with my new photo shoots and they called me with a proposal to work together. I admit that it took me some time to think it over and after I’ve decided that the work of a model would be pleasant for me, I went Berlin to discuss the details. I hope I can fit this in my schedule.
- How much time did you have left to prepare for today’s shooting?
- Almost none. Immediately after my arrival in Bulgaria I got back to a hotel, where I was able to get a few hours to sleep. This is very important for, as I want to look good. Now on the shooting stage I’m feeling excited. The last video I’ve shot was back in the summer of 2003 and since that I’ve only been in front of the cameras of several TV shows. The work on today’s video will be quiet pleasant for me, although exhausting. The producer wants to make face sequences, and a big concentration is needed from me.
What do you think; will I be able to do it?
- This is the month in which you’re born, what do you want to wish?
- I’d like to thank to everyone who called me on the 7th of March to congratulate me. From the early morning I started receiving many messages with very beautiful wishes. Really you, the fans, made my birthday special and exciting. This reminded me again how many people are supporting me and expect only the best. This, of course, is a big responsibility, but your love flatters me and it gives the strength to create. I tried to answer most of the messages, but to all those people, to whom I couldn’t answer, I sincerely beg you to forgive me. I want to thank you and to assure that these feelings are mutual. I love you. What I wish, is just for us to be together and to find more and more reasons to be happy.
- What presents did you receive?
- Indeed, the presents started coming from the beginning of March. I’ve received many beautiful presents, which I’ll keep in my home. My producer surprised me with a new song, a song that I liked so much that I immediately decided to record it and to include it in my new album, so you will be able to hear it. This song is great. I received a very precious gift from my son, Mikey. He gave me a huge bouquet of roses; you could hardly see him behind the roses. I suspect that someone helped him, but he still doesn’t want to say who. The memories from this birthday are unforgettable.
- What do you wish and expect to happen during this year?
- I can’t be certain. Long ago I’ve stopped to make plans for my career or my personal life. What I’ve learned is that life is full of surprises and it’s better if you trust your feelings rather than making any plans and goals. Several times, certain things have happened to me that exceed even my dreams. Still, there is something for which I work very hard, my new album. I wish that you will fall in love with the songs, you will choose the hits and I wish that you will feel in my songs the same passion, with which I’ve recorded them.
- Tell us about your new songs…
- I’d rather let you first hear, we could have some fun together and after that I will tell you about each song, how was it created. When I was making this album, certain things in my life have happened, things that made me believe even more in the power of love and in the magic that creates the music. I’m in love and I hope that this feeling will last long in me.
- You’re in love?
- I knew it, that this will be the next question. Yes and I wish you all the same.
