Desi Slava – I want to reach a higher top
- Do you have deeply hidden secrets?
- Everybody has secrets. Nothing that needs hiding has ever happened to me. I had a secret diary, it was stolen, it was long ago.
- Don’t tell me, that you’ve given up on your personal life?
- Me... Probably I’m getting boring, as I always say that I don’t have a boyfriend. If you want me, I could lie. I’ll describe the man of my dreams. He is handsome, tall, good friend, much bigger than me. There is no intimacy between us…., well I said, I’ll be lying, so you can accuse me of nothing. He is very intelligent, interesting and wise. I won’t say his name, because he is too famous. He is my best friend.
- Are you feeling the rise of the attention towards you? It has been 3 months since you are no the top?
- After my latest album, I can really feel that. I’m very glad, that we’ve managed to create these songs, thanks to my team. Deep in my I’ve always believed that I’ll succeed and this proves it.
- You have a great intuition, right?
- Definitely I count on my intuition, I’ve convinced myself, that I have it in my. You have to listen to your feelings. Just recently for example two miracles happened to me. I’ve had two car crashes, but everything was ok. It seems that some force is guarding me.
- Now please without you being modest, tell me how to you feel on the top? Your album is the top seller and you have the most first places in the charts for more than three months.
- I keep track of the charts and it makes me very happy, seeing myself on the top positions. But I think that I can’t stop here, I can’t think even for a second that I’m on the top. I want to reach a higher top. Indeed there are a few – a top next to a top.
- Are you considering singing abroad?
- It’s in God’s powers, but I think it’s normal to think about that. I believe I have the qualities, but I know that the luck is also important.
- In Bulgaria you’re loved, you have many fans. Would you decide to start everything from scratch in a new place?
- For me, it’s a new challenge. I’m thinking of trying and we’ll see. I have to say that I’m flattered by the recent success. But nothing has changed in me. I’m exactly the same. I’m not the only one who says that, my friends do so too.
- Are you nervous or worried with something?
- Why? I believe in myself. I love to experiment. For example, with the English song, this was a great desire for me to do. Everyone was trying to convince me, that it’s dangerous, that the fans might change their opinion of me, even though I did it. I wanted so much to make this song, now I’m preparing a new one.
- Do you make compromises?
- I can make the biggest compromises, but it depends. If it is about friends – I can forgive everything. Even if the other person is guilty, I’m always making the first step to reconcilement. But about music, I make no compromises. If I don’t feel that a certain song is right for me, I don’t perform it. Maybe in the very beginning, I’ve made such compromises, but back then I wasn’t aware with myself, I was too little.
- Do you want to say something for conclusion?
- To everyone, who loves me, I want to say that I love him to. I hope the fans will love my songs. Now, that I know, that my album has such a success, I’m afraid that people might become fed up with them.
- I forbid you to say that!
- I’m really afraid. But I hope that the trace will be lasting.
